Meditations on Journeys - 5

Some journeys are made to heed prophecy.
                    *****
Some journeys are made to learn from a master.
                    *****
Some journeys are made to trace our roots.
                    *****
Some journeys are made to take a break.
                    *****
Some journeys are made to find answers to questions, doubts, or heartfelt longings.
                    *****
Whatever the reason we journey, we will discover new things.

…New thoughts, new insights, new solutions, new ideas, and new capabilities.

Travel is the best school, say some.

It expands our capacity for wonder, joy and appreciation.

Every journey contains the seed of a more productive, vivacious, joyful, and happier version of ourselves.

Thanks to all of you for sharing my journey on this blog, and keeping me going, until I reached the 300th post on this blog. Wow! Wow! and Wow!With your continued interest and encouragement, I hope to reach the 400th post (in approximately 2 years from now - at the rate of a post a week). It will be "Wows" all over again at that time.....can't wait....M ….a Pearl Seeker like you.

P.S.  Thanks to Ajay, Aarti and David, for your comments and compliments on my last post, and thanks to the rest of you for your likes, pins and votes. Much appreciated.

Meditations on Journeys - 4

Some journeys are made to find solace.
                    **********
Some journeys are made to reconnect.
                    **********
Some journeys are made to experience grace.
                    **********
Some journeys are made to recoup our health.
                    **********
Some journeys are made to find kindred spirits.
                    **********
When it's time to journey, we will know.

Something will speak to us.

Call it spirit, call it heart.

A journey is both a ‘towards’ and an ‘away’.

We will move ‘towards’ something, and ‘away’ from something – even if it's only from our habitual routines and ways.

Every journey, even a journey that contains sadness, is a journey of hope.

Journeys reflect and express the most hopeful part of our spirit.
