Are You Ready To Meet Your Fitness Destiny?

If you give up too easily, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you are willing to do only what’s easy and convenient, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you can’t be bothered to monitor your progress, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you don’t make time for regular weigh-ins and check-ups, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you are careless about what you eat, and how much you eat, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you ignore warnings about substances that are harmful to your health, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you think all answers to good health come out of pill bottles, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you sweep health events under the carpet, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you ignore the physical shape you are in, and are not prepared to do the hard work, and make the sacrifices, to get into better physical shape, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you think health is something you “buy” rather than “work towards”, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you believe it’s too late to turn back the clock, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you are cynical about health advice, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you’d rather make a joke about your health, than take steps to change any of your health conditions, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you secretly enjoy health dramas, for the attention you get, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you are not willing to address the root cause of your health issues, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If a setback or an interruption throws you off your routine, and you are too lazy to begin again, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you think being a mother or father of a young child, lets you off the hook, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you expect progress to come fast, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you let self-consciousness get in the way, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you are quick to come up with examples of good lifestyles with bad outcomes, or bad lifestyles with good outcomes, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you think you are too young or too old to be bothered with fitness, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you think fitness is only for those who have sports careers, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you use the “too” word in connection with exercise, as in I’m “too anemic”, “too exhausted”, “too weak”, “too busy”, “too time-pressed”, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you think you’ve tried it all, and there’s no hope, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you are focused on what you don’t have going for you, rather than what you do have going for you, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

If you are unable to consider - and pursue - the idea of getting back into the shape you were in 5, or 10 years ago, then you are not ready to meet your fitness destiny.

Prepare yourself to meet your fitness destiny.

Don’t let pointless thoughts, busy work, and excuses hold you back.

Start today and never look back.

It's never too early - and as I can personally attest - it's never too late.
