Something Moved In Me

I watched a puppy just being his adorable self.

And something moved in me.

I watched a toddler doing her bouncy up and down dance..

And something moved in me.

I listened to an orchestra playing a majestically beautiful song.

And something moved in me.

I saw someone run into the arms of someone else, in the arrivals lounge of an airport.

And something moved in me.

I watched and listened to two people exchange wedding vows.

And something moved in me.

I watched a graduate receive her diploma.

And something moved in me.

I watched a runner breast the tape.

And something moved in me.

I went on an early morning hike.

And something moved in me.

I watched the sun come up over the horizon.

And something moved in me.

I entered a church, and sat in silence with a few worshippers.

And something moved in me.

And during each of these moments, I was so glad, I was so glad, that my ego, and mundane, and material concerns, were no part of it.

No part of it at all!
