neighbors, and acquaintances.
We said, “It’s Christmas” and we took time off to enjoy the season with our families.

our best foot forward, and participated wholeheartedly in social events.

hours decorating our houses, or doing Christmas shopping.

opened our hearts and pocket books to brighten someone's day.

up an evening, or a weekend to feed the poor, or give gifts to needy children.
We said, “It’s Christmas” and we
sent texts or social media messages to each other.
We said, “It’s Christmas” and many of us trudged to the post office to send packages.
We said, “It’s Christmas” and drove or flew miles to be close to family.
We said, “It’s Christmas” and for a brief and magical while, we put aside our differences and focused on enjoying the season together.
