Maybe It's Time to Make Your Story Count

If you are complex, become simple and make your story count

If you are afraid to be yourself, find the courage to be who you are and make your story count.

If you are dependent, start working your way to independence and make your story count.

If you have dug a hole for yourself, dig yourself out and make your story count.

If you lack emotional control, become more grounded and make your story count.

If you have suffered, come to terms with what you have been through and make your story count.

If you are in the shadows, come into the light and make your story count.

If you are filled with regrets, make a new start and make your story count.

If you are a lone ranger, learn to collaborate and make your story count.

If you are just surviving, make changes and adjustments so you can thrive and make your story count

Adapting

Starting Afresh

The results will be…

Redemptive

Healing

Transformative

Don’t go to the dogs.

Don’t spiral down.

Fight against the temptation to make a bad situation worse.

Find your better self.

Reveal the Golden Statue Within

Think of yourself as a golden statue, with mud caked all over it.

When you think, speak, and act correctly, the mud gets washed off, bit by bit, to reveal the golden person you are.

When you think, speak and act correctly, your radically different response serves as alchemy….

Loss will be followed by gain.

Failure will be followed by success.

Shame will be followed by pride.

Sadness will be followed by joy.

Hopelessness will be followed by hope.

Aimlessness will be followed by purpose.

Anxiety will be followed by peace.

It's No Accident

The fact you are reading this today is no accident.

Everything up to today was a preparation for this moment.

It’s time to get the mud off, and reveal the golden person within.

And what an opportunity it is.

You have the opportunity to make your story count.

“He survived a tough childhood to become a strong and compassionate person”

It can be said about you too.

“They did not let a disability, or a devastating illness, hold them back”.

It can be said about you too.

“She broke out of destructive life patterns to become a well-adapted person.”

It can be said about you too.

“She recovered from a depression to live a healthy, happy life.”

It can be said about you too.

“They bounced back from a tragic loss to dedicate their life to a worthwhile cause.”

It can be said about you too.

Change the end of your story and make it count.

Maybe it’s time.
